<strong>Win32/Sality is a virus that will infected your computer when you are downloading or taking a executed file that has been infected by win32/sality. The first indication that you can notice that your computer is infected by this antivirus is your computer will run slower than before. It also cause some executed program unable to be used such as firefox browser.
As what I have faced before that my pc has been infected by virus that is called Win32/sality. Some of my program couldn’t be accessed and then it was left the shortcut only. Here are some solution that you can apply for your computer in preventing your computer to be infected by win32/sality.
Currently my way to solve this virus is by using kaspersky internet security. This software is not free software since you have to take some dollars from your wallet to get the KIS Key 2009. But it is not expensive software. Only with some dollars I can get the license for a year.
The following steps were used for cleaning and protecting PC from my computer by using KIS:
- format your PC. I format my PC since cleaning this virus by using manual way was unseccessful. But you may need to try manual fisrts before.
- Install kaspersky internet security right after formatting the pc before installing the other program. update your KIS database and then move your data back to your computer and then scan it.
- You probably will find files that are infected by win32/sality when you are scanning just set your kasperksky to delete each threat that will come.
By installing kaspersky internet security your computer will be protected from threats that come when you are accessing internet.
