I may self assume that pagerank decrease is caused by too many link redirect to other sites, so it will be better that we also make article that are used for making balance between number of link that refer to other sites and number of links that are refer to our sites. Thats my opinion, but i have to admit that bring back pagerank i got before participate in paid review is difficult enough I am not sure that review articles will not decrease pagerank, but the webmaster may be has trick to keep his/her pagerank.
