The reelection campaign of President Obama, Obama for America, has a page + Google, joined a rival some of the Republicans seeking to reach out to voters in a growing social network.
“Welcome to the 2012 + page of Google Obama,” a staff member of the Obama campaign posted on Google + on Wednesday. “We’re still kicking the tires and imagine this, so let us know what you see here and want your ideas on how we can use this space to help you keep in touch with the campaign.”
As shown on the site 9to5Google, the Republican candidate and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has used Google video chat + Hangout trying to connect with voters.
