>Popular BBC iPlayer has been announced as one of the founders of internet services and Roku streaming media gadget that will be winging its way into English.
Roku will come in two versions, 2 XS and LT Roku Roku and they will enhance our television services bring unique content and domestic services such as LoveFilm and now Beebs online on-demand and catch-up programming library. European manufacturers of digital TV hub VP Clive Hudson said: “Roku recognizes the importance of region-specific programs so today we are pleased to announce the addition of BBC iPlayer for our platform.” He added: “This is the first of many significant content partnerships for the Roku in Europe and we hope to make additional announcements in the coming weeks.”
Roku device, such as those mentioned above, will come in two formats both expected in the half year. The Roku 2 XS will be up-market versions boast 1080p video output, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth motion-controlled game mode with MicroSD support for a little extra storage. This one is set to cost around £ 100. The second, called Roku LT, as you might think is a light version that displays 720p output via HDMI and honorable Wi-Fi, set to cost £ 80.
