If you want to make your blackberry as your modem meanwhile you don’t have USB cable to connect your blackberry and your notebook, you still able to set trick it. You can connect it by using bluetooth connection. Generally setting blackberry as your external modem by using bluetooth is same. But the way to pair between blackberry and your computer is different.

So make sure that you can pair your blackberry to your computer. Do the following step to connect your blackberry with your notebook before set the handset as your external modem:

On your Blackberry do the following steps:

  1. Turn on your blackberry and then go to Manage connections
  2. Go to bluetooth options
  3. go to add device
  4. select your device are listed in your bluetooth device
  5. enter your passkey.

On your notebook:

  1. When there is pop up window you has to insert your passkey
