Analysts predict Windows Phone 7 potentially raise prestige of Microsoft in the competitive mobile OS, but can also even the software giant is increasingly drowned.
Adam Holt, analyst at Morgan Stanley said that, although the mobile OS business contributed only one percent in revenue to Microsoft, Windows Phone 7 becomes something very important to the company, based in Redmond, Washington, United States (U.S.) it.

“Considering Windows Phone 7 debuted in the middle of a super tight competition, Microsoft seems to have developed a new generation platform that could help him gain credibility in the realm of mobile OS,” said Holt.
While IDC analyst Ramon Llamas said, Windows 7 Phone is the first most significant update Microsoft is performed on its mobile OS. And this OS came after the failure of Kin mobile phone which was launched some time ago. “As we know, Kin is a total failure,” he said.

Microsoft and Nokia just made a partnership which Microsoft software are going to be included onto Nokia devices. It is not impossible that one of the software are going to be included is Microsoft office. Microsoft it self has demonstrated some devices based on Windows mobile operating system to run Microsoft office 2010. Beside indicated that Microsoft office is going to be included into Mobile Phone, it also indicated that Microsoft office 2010 will able to be run on some internet browser such as Opera and Mozilla firefox as on Internet Explorer.
Meanwhile Nokia and Microsoft partnership that was made is about the agreement stated that Nokia allowing Nokia device to connect to Exchange Servers using ActiveSync protocol which is owned by Microsoft. If this is true, so Microsoft will have a new way to compete with the other operating systems such as Googele Android and the others.
