This was become something odd for me about SEO technique which I have received since there were some cases showed that they different, like when my traffic of this site increase little by little my alexa rank jump down. Theoretically, the alexa rank increase will be influenced by the increase of traffic, in this case the amount of alexa rank is decrease instead of alexa rank decrease.

But now it is not something odd again. Probably some of you have known the answer why. In this case there is anything difference I found except the page view of posts in my site. It is right that the increase of traffic increase become the factor of alexa rank. But there is a factor which in my opinion has to became as the consideration of increasing alexa rank. It is about which page that can absorb visitors.

When your traffics come from the only one or some posts probably it will affect to the alexa rank increase, but when it happen for long time I am not sure that it still has same effect. This is what has happened to my site. In one post I see there are many visitors come, but I also found there are many posts that less viewed.

In this case, my conclusion that alexa rank also influenced by the number pages that that are viewed which can bring traffic. You may has another reasons of my case and you can write it about here, but this is what I have seen from my site.

Another oddness is about pagerank update which frequently held by Google and make my site pagerank updated uncertainly. Some updates make it become zero pagerank and some others gave back my 3 three pagerank. These are happend crisscross and it won’t happen again if I optimize it more.
