User account control> is part of windows vista that can not be found in the older version of Windows, like windows 3.1, windows 95, windows 98, windows 98SE, windows Me, windows 2000 and windows 2003. We can think it as the protector of the configuration in Windows vista as it protects your computer from configuration change done by a user.Some configuration which will protected by user account control USC are Windows system configuration, user configuration and Program installation configuration. Program Installation configuration will be protected from the change that done by people who don’t have any access right to Windows Vista based PC. This is mean only administrator who can do change configuration in a PC that based on Windows Vista.
The working of USC is responding on all of the activities done by a user and it will take action by blocking user activity if it is marked have potent in creating a change to the configuration in PC. Response which done by USC is checking on the user identity. If USC find user as administration or user, it will give two choices to user, continue or delay action. In this case a user can continue without entering password.
It is different if USC find a user that doesn’t has any access right. It will block all of activities done by user and user will be asked to entering password. A user won’t be allowed to take any access if user get failure in entering the password.
Beside that it also an be anti virus, malware or the other program that can disturb, guard computer from the virus execution and also destroyer distribution. Not only this it also can guard from unwanted installation.
Working area that owned by USC is only in Drive C like program installation, Program modification, deleting, copying or replacing file. The response also done by USC in changing file in Program File folder and sub directories included in it. But it not work for the other activities done in aother partision. It can be from or to drive C from others. Protection that are created by USC to drive make the deleting or cleaning file in get failure or run slowly.
